Indications:

Linezolid is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including:

• Skin and soft tissue infections, including diabetic foot infections
• Nosocomial pneumonia
• Community-acquired pneumonia
• Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium (VRE) infections
• Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections, including complicated skin and soft tissue infections and pneumonia

Usage:

• Linezolid should be used only to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Administer Linezolid orally as directed by a healthcare professional, preferably with or without food.
• For intravenous administration, reconstitute the Linezolid General Dry Powder Injection as per the instructions provided in the package insert and administer over a recommended infusion time.

Dosage:

• The recommended dosage of Linezolid varies depending on the type and severity of the infection.
• For most indications, the usual adult dosage is 600mg every 12 hours, either orally or intravenously, for a duration determined by the treating physician.
